Municipal Dog Licenses are required in the Village of Genoa City. Dog Licenses expire on December 31 of each year. A dog license is necessary for the keeping of any dog over 5 months of age. State Law requires that all dogs be vaccinated against rabies within 30 days of reaching 4 months of age, and future protection be kept current. Your license tag also helps locate the owner if a lost animal is recovered. A current Certificate of Rabies Vaccination is required when licensing your dog.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DOGS ALLOWED IS THREE (3) PER HOUSEHOLD.
